I am a child of the Diaspora via Jamaica, New York, and the Bronx.
I am an educator, artist, and a full time student of life.
My viewpoints in education and my work in Equity are fundamentally shaped by my experiences as a Black woman and the daughter of Jamaican immigrants. I graduated from Brown University with a BA in Africana Studies and BA Human Development in Education, and I hold a Masters Degree in Teaching in Social Studies Education from Georgia State University.
I also work on artistic projects that bring together my passions for photography, visual arts, preserving our planet, and affirming people of color.
